Local dentist Beth gets a lot of joy from interacting with patients in the tight-knit Roxburgh Village community, and often looks after entire families through the generations at uSmile Dental Centre.

“We treat families from the grandparents to grandchildren,” she says. “It is satisfying to see kids grow up and still love to go to the dentist. People here are very friendly.”

Beth should know: she’s been working as a dentist for the local Roxburgh Park community since 2006, and operating out of Roxburgh Village for nearly a decade. She qualified as a dentist in 1997, so has now been in the industry for a quarter of a century.

After all this time, Beth still loves her profession.

“I’m happy every time I treat a patient and feel appreciated,” she explains. “People know me as the local dentist. I am passionate about my job.”

It’s clear that Beth’s patients love her back, because she’s always busy despite not having any business signage to advertise her services. Instead, people come to her via word-of-mouth — a sure sign of success.

Beth likes that Roxburgh Village is a close community where almost everyone knows each other. She also appreciates how convenient and functional the centre is: she heads to Green Apple and Aldi for all of her fresh food needs, and sometimes picks up dinner for the family from one of the centre’s many takeaway spots.
